Chris
Cowdrey has been a professional cricketer since
1976. He was educated at Wellesley House and Tonbridge
School. A former captain of Young England, he
first played for Kent in 1977 and was capped in
1979. Chris is an accomplished corporate speaker, event host and after dinner speaker.
Chris
is also a tourist of wide experience, having
played in eighteen countries. In September 1984
he was elected Captain of Kent and in the same
week was chosen for the England tour of India
and Australia.
He
is the son of Colin Cowdrey.Throughout
his life Chris Cowdrey has been aware of following
in his father's footsteps.

his first game for his prep school lst XI at
the age of only nine to his first innings for
England; from batting for Tonbridge to batting
for Kent; "the inevitable comparisons sometimes
made me feel I was running with a following
