Bob Geldof receives honorary degree in Canterbury from UCA . . .

22 July 2010 - Canterbury: One of rock's most outspoken characters, Bob Geldof, received an honorary degree from the University for the Creative Arts in Canterbury today.
Bob was presented with the award by fashion's most colourful personality Zandra Rhodes, who is the university's new chancellor.He said he was thrilled to be among the 120 graduates at the degree ceremony and was also pleased to be recognised for his contribution to culture and humanitarianism rather than getting some other obscure doctorate.
