Geoff Cotton is a presenter and journalist with extensive experience of corporate presentations and after dinner speaking. After graduating in Modern Languages from Cambridge University, he began a career in marketing, which led to BASF Audio / Video, where he spent four years as Marketing Manager. Geoff is a fascinating keynote corporate speaker, and after dinner speaker.

In l987 Geoff left BASF to become a full time presenter and journalist; since then he has presented and spoken at a wide variety of conferences, awards ceremonies and corporate hospitality events. Much of his work is for corporate video/television. His corporate clients include: General Motors, Manulife, British Gas, Perfect Pizza, Toshiba, TSB, UEFA Champions League, Rentokil, BT, Orange and United Biscuits. Geoff recently presented a sports programme on Sky Eurosport.

As a journalist, Geoff has a regular column in Impression magazine and contributes features to the Evening Standard magazine; as a keen golfer, footballer and tennis player he also contributes satirical articles on sports to magazines such a The Onion Bag. These articles form the basis for a series of highly amusing articles on a wide range of sports, all of which he plays with great enthusiasm and an embarrassing lack of ability.

Geoff uses his journalistic background to research background material for his speeches, tailoring his speaking style to suit the occasion and his audience. He works closely with the client company to ensure that both tone and content are entirely appropriate. His popular presentation Traps and Tricks guides delegates through the process of delivering successful presentations and effective communication.
