Jason is one of the UK and Europe’s all time great sprinters. The 2004 World Indoor 60m Champion and 4 times European Indoor 60m Champion. He achieved one of his ultimate ambitions in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games by winning Gold in the 4 x 100m relay just months after undergoing an operation to repair a double hernia. His perseverance and self belief kept him on track, winning championships right into the twilight years of his career. He was made the men’s team captain at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne Australia.

The high regard in which Jason is held was evident at his last outdoor race in the UK when the vast majority of a capacity Crystal Palace crowd stayed late into the evening to give him a standing ovation.
