Adam ‘Ocean’ Walker starts 2016 off with a splash, launching his debut book, Man vs Ocean today (7/1/16).
Man vs Ocean is Adam’s story, in his own words, of how he went from toaster salesman living in Nottingham to the world’s toughest ocean marathon swimmer.
Adam Walker is the only Briton to complete the Ocean’s 7 Challenge; swimming unaided across the seven toughest and most deadly ocean straits in the world. One of six people to have completed the challenge and one of two to complete it on the first attempt, Adam endured bone chilling water temperatures, a Portuguese man of war jelly fish sting, fending off great white sharks and being told that he would never swim again.
From his gruelling training schedule and physical difficulties, to the unique challenges nature threw his way, Adam’s incredible book will no doubt inspire all who read it to get active and take control of their future.
