2020 must have been the most difficult year most of us have ever faced. But there is a new year upon us, one that has some hope and light, albeit still distant.

While we all are getting back to our work routines, we’ve taken time to look back at the incredible talent who have challenged and inspired audiences across the globe in 2020.

Award winning chef Omari McQueen is the world’s youngest restaurateur.

Omari discovered veganism at a young age, and has been on a mission to convert his peers to a more ethical, environmentally-friendly lifestyle ever since. Inspired by his Caribbean roots, Omari produces delicious recipes that make vegan cooking fun, as well as producing incredible results!

Omari is a regular on our screens, and has a new show on CBBC – ‘What’s Cooking Omari’.

Further to this, Omari’s first cookbook has been released in January 2021.

Omari hosts inspirational workshops, cooking tutorials and is an impressive panelist and speaker on a range of subjects.

Tristan is the Co-Founder at Center for Humane Technology, Former Google Design Ethicist. Rolling Stone magazine named Tristan one of “25 People Shaping the World”, and he was named in Fortune’s “40 under 40” of 2018 for his work on reforming technology.

Most recently, Netflix’s “The Social Dilemma” star Tristan Harris spoke at the annual Audi MQ! summit gaining wide recognition for his insight and revealing  “The Inconvenient Truth”.

FTW endeavours to stop the suffering of wild animals in captivity and ultimately find a way to release them into sanctuaries or better equipped zoos.

After more than five years of dedication from Free The Wild’s founders – Cher, Mark Cowne and Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, the “world’s loneliest elephant” was finally released from Islamabad Zoo on 30 November 2020, after 35 years in captivity.
