Daniel Cronin

Daniel is an entrepreneur, lecturer, TV presenter, renowned keynote speaker and leading international Pitch Trainer aka The Pitch Professor.

As a co-founder and board member of AustrianStartups, he has significantly influenced Austria’s entrepreneurial landscape, fundamentally believing that entrepreneurial thinking and acting are key for positive change. Amongst other ventures he also co-founded allaboutapps and the Vienna Mentoring Group, dedicating his expertise to early-stage startups.

Awarded the title “The Pitch Professor” by the Vienna University of Technology, Daniel excels in training individuals in effective communication and presentation. He created the Train-the-Trainer program for the European Innovation Council and achieved a unique feat by being the first to pitch in free-fall.

His expertise in pitching and entrepreneurship extends to academia, where he lectures at prestigious institutions like the Vienna University of Technology and the Vienna University of Economics and Business. Daniel’s influence reaches a global scale, having been a part of the 15th Science and Technology in Society forum in Kyoto, Japan.

As a speaker, he has addressed audiences at major corporations and events like Adidas, Audi, Deutsche Bank, TEDx, Siemens, and Red Bull, discussing startups, innovation, and corporate-startup collaboration. With over 400 events under his belt, including the Pioneers Festival and Bits & Pretzels, Daniel stands out as a leading voice in startups and innovation.
