About Dave Stewart (Music):

For over 30 years, Dave Stewart has written and recorded music, establishing himself as one of the music industry’s most respected and accomplished talents.  During his career, he has written some of the best-loved songs ever recorded, and has sold more than 100 million albums.

Having collaborated with Annie Lennox as part of the Eurythmics, Stewart produced some of the best-loved and most recognised tracks of all time, including hits such as ‘Sweet Dreams’, ‘Here Comes The Rain Again’ and ‘Would I Lie To You?’, among others.

As well as writing music, he has also produced music for some of the biggest artists in the world, including Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Bono, Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Brian Ferry and Sinéad O’Connor, among others.  He has also picked up a number of awards, including Grammy Awards and  Golden Globe for Best Song for his work on the score of the film Alfie.

As well as writing the score for ‘Alfie’, Stewart has written, produced and scored songs for a number of other hit films, including ‘Madagascar 3’, and wrote the songs for the musical adaptation of the film ‘Ghost’ with songwriter and producer Glen Ballard.  Having opened to high acclaim in London’s West End, the show premiered on Broadway in 2012.
