Eva Omaghomi-Williams is a strong communicator who has worked with the British media for over 15 years. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and living in the UK since she was 11, she mixes Nigerian candour with British good manners sprinkled with humour.
Eva is clear and honest in her delivery. As a qualified Anthropologist and licensed Christian Minister she has a unique way of looking at the world. Eva is passionate about people reaching their full potential especially disadvantaged young people who she encourages to have a vision for their lives. Her story takes her from a middle-class family in Lagos, to a council estate in South London, to working in the Royal Household. A journey she says is largely down to the grounding from her West African upbringing and the proverbs she was told as a girl.
Eva has been awarded with the Royal Victorian Order.
As a media professional of many years’ standing, Eva uses examples of prominent people of African heritage whose stories illustrate how their background has informed and inspired their own experiences and has helped them meet challenges, overcome obstacles and win through to success. The audience is left with a rich resource of guidance for their lives.
