Giulia Lamarca is a psychologist and a travel blogger from Turin (Italy).
She has been in a wheelchair since she was 19 because of an accident and despite this she travels around the world with her husband telling about her travels on her Instagram profile and in her blog “My travels: the hard truth”.
Giulia’s trips become the starting point to talk about the accessibility and inclusivity of the places visited. Without making these issues the central point of the story, Giulia spreads awareness, curiosity and exchange of views between those who follow her, and they are not – it’s important to highlight it – only disabled people.
Because Giulia is the symbol of a “normal” disability: she has the needs, enthusiasm, and initiative of every person of her age curious to discover the world. She highlights that travel is a right for everyone. The change needed for everyone to take advantage of exploring the world is they key point in Giulia’s work.
Giulia speaks about diversity & inclusion, social change, motivation & inspiration, awakening your inner explorer and much more.
