Kara Rosen, a former exec at Conde Nast in New York, spent over a decade jet lagged, overindulged and exhausted from a hectic travel and event schedule.

After a yearly battle against reoccurring strep throat, and failing antibiotics, she turned to a holistic nutritionist who suggested a 5-day juice cleanse to get rid of the toxins.

Kara moved to the UK and became a mother, but soon realised that there were no cold-pressed juices in the British market free of sugar. Kara decided to make her own juices and nut milks using mainly green vegetables from organic origin. With the help of a nutritionist, Kara developed drinks with the right amount of phytonutrients and protein to detox the body and maintain good energy levels to keep up with work and family.

A year later, encouraged by the positive feedback received from friends and family, PLENISH was born. Its aim: to make organic cold-pressed juices available to everyone.

PLENISH is now the number one juice brand in the UK  and stocked nationwide at prestigious retailers such as Wholefoods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Ocado. The company also has a national delivery service for their popular cleanses. The brand and Kara have been featured in top publications such as Vogue, Grazia, GQ, ES Magazine and Metro. In 2014 it was crowned “The Best New Brand” by the World Beverage Innovation Awards.
