Recognised as the pioneer of Modern Day PR, where she created London Fashion Week, inspired the world’s largest Aids/HIV fundraiser and launched Green Consumer Week, Lynne Franks is recognised as a global futurist, thought leader and changemaker.
She is a champion for gender equality, sustainable business practices and women’s economic empowerment , and through her seminal best-seller The SEED Handbook, has influenced hundreds of thousands of women to start their own enterprise, using the feminine principles of collaboration, community and connection.
Lynne advises major corporations on communication and market engagement as well as gender leadership and has recently opened WYZE, a business solutions consultancy in partnership with one of the world’s top global data scientists.
She founded SEED – Sustainable Enterprise and Empowerment Dynamics – a provider and community for women’s learning programmes in 2000 based on the book and has delivered workshops, retreats, programmes and on-line learning to large corporates through to women’s prisons in more than twenty countries.
Lynne has also become a voice for the baby boomer generation, writing regular articles as well as making her popular TEDx Talk in 2012 “Return of the Wise Woman”.
Lynne has authored four books and has remained at the forefront of the movement for social change in society. She became a founding patron of industry sector leaders Women 1st as well becoming the UK head of 1Billion Rising, a global movement bringing attention to violence against women. She was also responsible for the development of B. Hive, a national network of women’s business hubs, in partnership with the Regus Group.
Her latest project is The Power of Seven, a methodology where women are encouraged and guided how to work together as community leaders to create positive, sustainable change in the world. With this new initiative, Lynne expands her horizons to lay out her vision for an interconnected, sustainable way of living both locally and globally, which she calls ‘Me – We – Us. ‘
