Martina Buchal is an internationally recognised speaker, coach, and consultant, with a background in law and diplomacy.
She has recently been selected as Real Leaders Magazine‘s #34 most Visionary Leader. After working in high levels of national and international government in Canada, and training in peace and mediation work, she began forging a path for a new form of leadership, based on the notion that “who we are on the inside is what creates our world on the outside.”
Now, for 3 and a half years, after being chosen as a voice for her generation, she has been traveling the globe listening to, empowering, and working alongside others to engage their voices and talents to create a more positive future for our planet through the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. She has traveled to more than 37 countries as the World Merit Global Ambassador, engaged with thousands of people worldwide and spoken on prestigious stages including the United Nations, and the Summit of the Americas, where she was invited to speak by special invitation from the Vice President of Panama herself.
Today, she runs her own firm, focused on enabling others to use the #StartWithin approach, which trains leaders to develop the inner skills and habits necessary to bring about the future we need.
“Martina is a charismatic and energetic individual who I have partnered with in the past due to her excellent delivery and manner of engaging with her audience. She showed a dedication and spirit that comes only through the love one has for one's work, while displaying an incomparable aptitude for the subject matter"
Mark Seychell, Senior Policy Officer at Permanent Representation of Malta to the European Union
"Martina was loved and admired by the participants. Her presentations on global issues and collaboration were well-articulated and inspiring for her young audience and enabled them to see how their local issues are also intertwined with the issues of the globalised world. These messages were crucial to the success of the Youth Leadership Programme"
