Matt Graham
Matt Graham is the star of the Discovery Channel’s Dual Survival and Dude, You’re Screwed and an author of ‘Epic Survival’.
Matt Graham grew up in the cities of southern California, but was exposed to surfing on the beach and hunting in the mountains at an early age.
When turning 17 years he moved to Yosemite National Park, climbing and running everyday while working at the mountaineering store became his life for the next 3 years. His running carried him 1000s of miles all over the western US where he studied and lived the skills of early Native Americans.
At age 23, Matt ran the 1700 mile length of California (to the last town) on the PCT in 58 days, A record at the time.
20 years ago Matt moved to the majestic Grand Staircase National Monument in Utah where he began a full immersion into the red rock canyon lands as a hunter gatherer, then eventually split his time with teaching these skills to others. Matt has also studied dance, acting and Martial arts. These skills combined with over 20 years as a primitive skills teacher set him up to be a dynamic television personality and expert.
Matt has been a Host on several shows and has proven his diversity regarding primitive skills, modern survival skills and a all round outdoorsman.
