Matt Lucas
Actor, author, comedian, presenter, and writer Matt Lucas one of the most recognisable personalities in British television. Matt first came to prominence as George Dawes in the seminal comedy Shooting Stars. However, he is perhaps best known for his work alongside David Walliams, co-creating the three-time BAFTA winning BBC comedy, Little Britain. Matt has starred in numerous critically acclaimed projects, with film credits including Alice in Wonderland, Paddington and Bridesmaids, TV credits including Doctor Who, and theatre projects including Les Misérables. Additionally, Matt has created a string of bestselling children’s books, including Thank You, Baked Potato, and his memoir, Little Me, was published in 2017. Most recently Matt co-hosted three series of the award winning Great British Bake Off for Channel Four and Sky Max’s Fantasy Football League, which returns in January. Matt is also appearing alongside Timothee Chalamet in Warner Bros’ musical fantasy Wonka, released December 2023 and has recently been filming on Gladiator 2 (scheduled for release in 2024). He is currently adapting his novel The Boy Who slept Through Christmas into a stage musical.
