Neil Ruddock
Neil Ruddock is a former professional footballer, actor and television personality. Neil made his debut at Millwall and went onto have a long career playing for Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton, Liverpool to name a few. He finished his career at Swindon where he became player/coach under Roy Evans, who had managed him at Liverpool. Ruddock is most famous for his time at Liverpool and notably for his on-field fight with Eric Cantona.
Neil is a fan favourite and has achieved cult status throughout the footballing world. He won four caps for England U-21s and one for England B. He won one full England cap, which came against Nigeria when Terry Venables was manager.
Since hanging up his boots, Neil has made a large number of television appearances. These include Celebrity Total Wipeout, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, A Question of Sport and 2013 Celebrity Big Brother to name a few.
Neil has worked for a number of brands including Nintendo and Carlsberg. He is now a popular figure on the after dinner speaking circuit-raising money for clubs up and down the country.
