Pradiip is a Venezuelan-Italian Youth Leader, Astrophysicist, and Human Rights Activist who believes that multicultural understanding and global collaboration are essential to our success on and off the planet. He is a former World Humanitarian Summit Project Assistant at the United Nations. Pradiip has spoken at various international events, such as the Florida International Leadership Conference, One Young World, and was recently invited to be a keynote speaker at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. He has been interviewed by CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera, and was featured in Vanity Fair. Last year he was named "2nd Most Stylish Scientist in the World.” If chosen as the first Rising Star, Pradiip plans to create and help improve educational programs in astronomy and astrophysics in Venezuela and other developing countries, giving boys and girls the opportunity to transform their space dreams into reality. Becoming the first Rising Star would inspire him to tirelessly work to ensure that the beauty of our planet from space is reflected in the way that we treat our fellow co-habitants here on Earth.
