The Boomtown Rats at Grassington Festival 2014

Grassington Festival has made its first major announcement of its headline acts for next year’s event!
Presenting a total of 15 days of music and art in the Yorkshire Dales in June, one sure-fire hit is set to be The Boomtown Rats, who play on Friday, June 27.
The hit-makers are led by Bob Geldof whose warm Irish voice helmed hits like Rat Trap and I Don’t Like Mondays. With a string of top ten hits and platinum albums, the Boomtown Rats remain one of the biggest bands from the 70’s and 80’s. Here’s the Festival’s information.
